It’s finally happened!

ISO 9606-1 2017 has finally been accepted under the official journal for pressurised equipment as a harmonised standard.

This will mean that BS EN 287-1 will be withdrawn in the U.K.

Although withdrawn BS EN 287-1 could still be used if required by a contract.

Any BS EN 287 certificates that have been issued remain valid until their expiry date has been reached.
