As a type ‘A’ and DBT* Accredited Body (UKCA Marking), WQiC can issue Permanent Joining Qualifications for both the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PE(S)R) and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) for CE Marking (Partnered with LRQA-CASL Ltd Eire).

Our Team
Our team is led by a Certified International and European Welding Engineer (C-IWE/EWE), ensuring technical competence and correct interpretation of all welding and brazing standards in order to deliver the optimal service to our customers.
All our staff are highly skilled and fully certified in accordance with ISO 9712 for their relevant NDT disciplines, and hold PCN/CSWIP qualifications for welding inspection activities. As one of the UK’s leading welding certification bodies offering welding qualifications, we have a wealth of knowledge with a proven track record relating to weld procedure qualifications, testing of welders and welder qualification standards.
